We are considering a high-resolution digital back, which will be just what everyone has been asking for, and more! If you are interested, you may join the mailing list, contact us or just check back in a few years on the progress.
The current design goal is 96×120 mm to mate with 4×5 cameras, though it could be a bit smaller. Currently, people are most interested in color and 4×5, however mono can always be an option.

Issues: Adobe Lightroom has a 512 MP image size limit. Capture One can be used with large files.
